Leo first carved his niche in the early years of the Quarter Horse industry as a sizzling speed horse. But then he cemented his reputation by becoming one of the all time great sires. While he is recognized primarily as a leading broodmare sire, both his sons and daughters excelled on the track and in the show ring.  There isn’t a discipline in the quarterhorse world that doesn’t have ties to Leo.

Lad Leo mares are still the heart of our breeding program, they produce outstanding foals every year. These colts know how to work and do their best in every aspect of the horse industry.

Lad Leo, the strength and heart of our breeding program, was the last living son of the immortal Leo, one of the greatest All-time Quarter Horse sires and grandsires. Lad Leo is out of an own granddaughter of Three Bars.  It's a rare pedigree and is "pure foundation quarter horse."

Lad Leo was a real Quarter Horse with strength, disposition and power. An intelligent performance horse.  He was an AA ROM race qualifier, and he sired many ROM race progeny.

As a stallion, Lad Leo breeds the stamp and character of his sire...conformation, good minds, kind disposition, color and the ability to perform. Having stood mares from Canada and across the US, his colts can do everything and daughters are outstanding producers.
